Sebastián conducted Cantoría Esquiú between 1997 and 1998. During his tenure, they performed a cappella works by Brahms, Italian madrigals and popular music. In 1998 they took part of Canción Estampa, a CD of Latin American popular music edited by Editorial Lagos in Buenos Aires.
